RESPONSIBILITIES
To prepare for the opening of our new Department Store at Kai Tak, we are inviting experienced candidates for senior management positions. The incumbent will be responsible to maintain an effective and efficient management control over the operation and sales performance of the Department Store with different product categories, such as beauty, fashion, home, F&B and etc.. His / her roles and responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales managers to achieve the Company’s sales targets;
- Develop and implement strategic sales strategies and plans;
- Establish revenue, cost containment and service targets;
- Formulate annual / seasonal sales plans and sourcing for merchandises and brands;
- Monitor the sales performance and standard of the Department Store, control the cost and inventory;
- Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management improving store Operations, overall image, product mix and sales performance; and,
- Work closely with Marketing Division for the development and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Lead ad hoc assignments / development projects (EN)
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in Business Administration/ Marketing or related disciplines;
- At least 15 years’ experience in management position of a department store with multi categories or in the retail industry;
- Proven managerial skills in working out strategic sales & marketing plan in increasing sales for the store, retail administration, merchandising and inventory management, budgeting and cost control;
- Excellent market connections and relations with suppliers/vendors, and good sense with the market trends and customers’ needs;
- Strong leadership with effective problem solving and negotiation skills;
- Result-oriented, proactive, aggressive, attentive to details and excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work under pressure and with high initiatives;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; conversational Putonghua is a must;
- Shift duties and work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays will be required. (EN)
